Saying Goodbye to a Favorite: Buon Vino Closed, Lafayette's New Wine Room Awaits

Bid adieu to a long-standing Walnut Creek favorite, as Buon Vino, the local wine tasting room and wine club, has shut its doors for the last time. This news comes straight from Walnut Creek Downtown, the city's promotional organization.

Walnut Creek Downtown breaks the heartbreaking news that Buon Vino is no more. This wine-centric space was renowned for hosting private events, from community groups to individuals, as well as lively trivia nights, wine tastings, and even yoga classes with a twist of vino(!).

I dropped by for an event last year, and I must say, the massive indoor, club-style space was an ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine and some scrumptious snacks.

The city thanks Dan Balin, Buon Vino's owner, for his dedicated service. In response, Buon Vino expressed their gratitude, saying, "It has been an honor to serve this remarkable community. We will miss our wonderful patrons dearly."

If the welcoming ambiance of Buon Vino has left a void in your heart, take heart! A new local wine tasting room is on the horizon in Lafayette.
