Airport's New Attraction: GDRFA Unveils 'Ideal Face 2' Kiosk, Encouraging Positive Conduct at Dubai Terminals
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has launched the "Ideal Face 2" initiative at Dubai International Airport, aiming to promote ethical behavior and reinforce Dubai's reputation as a city of respect and humanity. The interactive booth, located in Terminal 3 Departures, is open until July 13, 2025.
The initiative, inspired by the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, carries the slogan "This is the Dubai We Want." It invites travelers, residents, and airport personnel to engage with the initiative either online or by visiting the booth. Participants can share stories of positive behavior, take part in creative activities, and make personal pledges to uphold these values.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, visited the booth along with senior officials from GDRFA and Dubai Airports. The delegation further explored the various sections of the "Ideal Face 2" booth, which have already seen strong engagement from the community.
The primary goal of the initiative is to foster a culture of kindness, honesty, and respect, reflecting the true face of Dubai that its leaders envision. It also aims to encourage community members to embrace these values and share moments of positive interaction, thereby reinforcing national values and service as a noble mission.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader vision of making service and human values central to its societal fabric. Lt. Gen. Al Marri considers the initiative a practical step towards embedding the UAE's vision of a values-driven society.
The "Ideal Face 2" initiative positions Dubai as a global example of human-focused progress, strengthening social cohesion through everyday interactions at the airport.
