Arthur's Market Brings Premium Groceries & Unique Dining to King's Road
Arthur's Market, a premium grocery store and dining destination, is set to open on the King's Road this autumn. The market will feature two unique dining options: ASA Izakaya, a hand roll and sushi bar, and Salvador, a wood-fired pintxos tapas bar. The market will also offer a wide range of premium groceries, including artisanal cheeses, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and rare Japanese delicacies.
ASA Izakaya, led by Chef Shaulan Steenson, will serve intricate Japanese specialty dishes, an extensive caviar and roe selection, and a curated sake menu. The menu will showcase fish and meat from the market's counters, with a focus on Japanese cuisine. Steenson, who has previously worked at renowned restaurants such as Endo at the Rotunda in London and Hakkoku in Japan, will emphasize hand rolls, nigiri, and premium seafood using British produce where possible.
The market will also feature a unique and exclusive fish counter, offering a range of fresh seafood not typically found in West London. This includes whole Spanish tuna and sea urchin, all at an affordable price point. In the evening, the entire market space will transform into an intimate dining destination with extended menus at ASA Izakaya.
Arthur's Market promises to be a culinary haven, offering a diverse range of premium groceries and dining options. With its unique focus on Japanese cuisine and exclusive seafood selection, it is set to become a popular destination for food enthusiasts in Chelsea and beyond.
