Aschaffenburg Border Hike Set for Oct 3, Rain or Shine
A border hike, organized by local historical societies, is set to take place on Friday, October 3, in Aschaffenburg. The main event, coordinated by Heimat- und Geschichtsverein Haibach and Grünmorsbach, will involve a walk along the region's boundaries, rain or shine.
The hike will begin at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild, between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. Participants are advised to wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Buses will be available for the return trip, departing from Hohe Wart from 7:30 AM.
The route will pass by six boundary markers. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM. The final rest will take place in the Sportheim Volkersbrunn.
