Luxury Yacht Helios 3 Sold to Private Buyer
The 54m (177ft) Delta Marine yacht, named Helios 3, has been sold to a private buyer, with the transaction facilitated by Christian Bakewell in the Burgess Aspen office. The seller was represented by Stuart Larsen of Fraser, and the sale was completed in mid-2025.
Helios 3, engineered for global cruising, offers a combination of comfort, versatility, and long-range capability. The yacht, which measures 54 meters in length, boasts a remarkable 5,000 nautical mile range at 11 knots, having traveled across Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific waters since its extensive refit in 2017.
The extensive refit saw the yacht's hull lengthened by 4m and its superstructure extended by 2-2.5m. Every part was renewed, rebuilt, or replaced, with the refit costing over $25 million. The refit also updated the yacht's lines, giving it a refined elegance from Delta Design Group.
The yacht's interior features a Pacific Rim style, accommodating up to 16 guests across 7 staterooms. The spacious full-beam owner’s suite on the upper deck includes a private office, dressing areas, and large bathroom. The main deck is dedicated to family entertainment, with a media room, gym, and outdoor beach club accessed via an extended tender garage.
Helios 3 is classed by Lloyd's Register, flagged by the Marshall Islands, and maintained as a private vessel. The new owner is wished many happy years on board, as the yacht combines comfort, versatility, and serious global cruising capability.
The new owner of the luxury yacht Helios 3, with its extended home-and-garden-esque living spaces and Pacific Rim style interior, can look forward to a lifestyle of global cruising comfort. After the extensive refit in 2017, the yacht offers a remarkable 5,000 nautical mile range at 11 knots, ideal for exploring various home-and-garden-like landscapes of the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific waters.
