Border Hike in Aschaffenburg Set for Friday, Despite Weather
A border hike is set for Friday, October 3rd, organized by several local entities in Aschaffenburg. Despite the weather, the hike will proceed as planned, with buses departing from 7:30 AM towards Hohe Wart.
Participants should meet at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild, between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. The route will pass by six three-mark stones, traversing Pfaffenberg and following the Sodener, Oberbessenbacher, and Hessenthaler borders.
A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM. The hike will continue along the Hessenthaler border to Langen Grund, then along the Mespelbrunn border to Volkersbrunn, where the final rest will take place in the sports clubhouse. Buses will be available for the return journey.
The border hike, regardless of the weather, offers a scenic route through Aschaffenburg's borders. Participants can enjoy a free snack mid-hike and rest at the sports clubhouse in Volkersbrunn. Buses will ensure a convenient return journey.
