Brooklyn-based Cultivation Objects has launched a unique espresso machine, the Anticline, which has garnered attention for its artistic design. The device, inspired by geological formations, has won a prestigious design award and is available in limited numbers.
The Anticline espresso machine, named after a geological formation, mimics the rise and fall of water in its design. Nathaniel Wojtalik, founder of Cultivation Objects, drew inspiration from the landscape near his father's home. The device won the 'our website Design Awards' 2025, praised for its sculptural form and ability to add artistry to daily morning coffee.
Crafted in a limited edition of 200, the Anticline is priced at £534 or $650. It is cast in recycled aluminium, with ebonised cherry handles sourced from storm-fallen trees in upstate New York. Despite its high price and limited availability, the Anticline has sparked interest among coffee enthusiasts seeking a blend of functionality and art in their daily brew.
