Artful Posters Against Alcoholism Among Youth - "Hues Over Hangover" Poster Contest
Alexander-S.-Puschkin-Gymnasium, Rathenaustraße 43, 16761 Hennigsdorf
Two Hennigsdorf Town Posters Shine Amongst Brandenburg's Best in 2025
In this year's "Hues Over Hangover" poster competition against alcoholism among young people, Hennigsdorf and Schoenefeld's entries have captured the attention of the judges. Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Britta Mueller, and Anke Grubitz, Director of DAK-Health State Representation, will honor the talented students on June 5th, 2025 at 11 AM at the Alexander-S.-Puschkin-Gymnasium in Hennigsdorf.
Under the banner of "Art vs. Binge Drinking," more than 7,000 students nationwide express their convictions through their paintings, photos, and collages. Every year, hundreds of children and young people in Germany struggle with alcohol poisoning [1]. The tragic number in Brandenburg was 314 in 2023 [2].
The DAK campaign "Hues Over Hangover - Art Against Binge Drinking" began six years ago in 2010. Over 143,000 young people aged 12 to 17 from around the country have taken part in the competition. The "Hues Over Hangover" campaign is recognized as a model prevention campaign in the German Drug and Addiction Report [3]. It has also been honored multiple times as a successful health campaign and has received scientific backing [4].
At a small ceremony, the top three posters from the DAK “Hues Over Hangover - Art Against Binge Drinking” 2025 competition on the state level will be awarded. You are warmly invited:
