Community Gathering: Accessible Vaults Unveiled in Almaty

Celebrating National Family Day in Almaty, Five Crisis Support Hubs Open Up

As we gear up for National Family Day celebrations in Almaty, five support hubs for young families grappling with a crisis have sprung up, according to Almaty.tv. These hubs aim to bolster family institutions and put a stop to domestic violence in the bustling city.

In his speech "Kazakhstan in the New Reality: Time for Action," the nation's leader urged intensified efforts in family policy development. Given the family's significance as a cornerstone of society, family issues have a ripple effect on other aspects of Kazakhstani society.

The opening ceremony of these support hubs saw the attendance of local government representatives, courthouses, and youth.

These hubs operate both in person, adhering to health and safety protocols, and online. On their inaugural day, four family pairs sought their assistance, with their relationships currently in the reconciliation phase.

These hubs will collaborate closely with state bodies such as RAGS, district courts, and local governments.

At these hubs, young couples can receive free consultation, psychological aid, and support from highly skilled psychologists to navigate family crises and preserve their families. Psychologists will also spearhead meetings, seminars, and lectures on topics like effective communication in future families, domestic violence prevention, and diverse family dynamics.

The United Nations' work in Kazakhstan and recent education reports highlight the importance of digital literacy and family support, suggesting that newer initiatives might be on the horizon.

  1. In addition to the five new crisis support hubs for families in Almaty, there are local organizations like the Saby Foundation, Shugyla Foundation, and Izgikonil Foundation that offer support to families in need, such as education assistance, housing support, medical outreach, and youth literacy programs.
  2. Psychologists at the crisis support hubs will conduct meetings, seminars, and lectures on a variety of topics, including effective communication in future families, domestic violence prevention, and diverse family dynamics, aiming to strengthen family institutions and improve family-dynamics nationwide.
  3. Local families experiencing a crisis can visit or contact the support hubs located at specific streets and buildings, or reach out to the Saby Foundation, Shugyla Foundation, or Izgikonil Foundation for additional help.
  4. These hubs will work closely with state bodies such as RAGS, district courts, and local governments to ensure that families receive the necessary guidance and support in preserving their homes and garden lifestyles, and maintaining healthy relationships within their families.
  5. As the beginning of a new initiative, these crisis support hubs hope to contribute significantly to the overall improvement of family dynamics, home-and-garden lifestyles, and relationships among families in Almaty and Kazakhstan, while addressing the significance of family issues on other aspects of Kazakhstani society.
The primary objective of the project lies in fortifying family institutions and deterring domestic violence within the urban metropolis.
