Cultural hall experiences unexpected excitement from Carnivalsgesellschaft Singen's interventions

The Eleventh of the Eleventh celebration in Singen was a night to remember, as the town's Carnival Society launched its fifth season with a bang. The remchinger Kulturhalle was filled with excitement, laughter, and a touch of romance.

The evening began with a crowning ceremony, led by Petra Leonhardt, Vice President of CGS, and Honorary President Herbert Milich. Ines I. (Schönthaler) and Adrian II. (Schimanke) were crowned as the new rulers of the Carnival Society, marking the start of a new era.

Entertainment was in abundance, with performances by the Guggenmusik band "Bääreglopfa" under the direction of Petra Folz, and the CGS house band Herzblatt, featuring the duo Uli and Toni. Their lively schunkel rounds and witty wordplay had the audience in stitches.

The Töpfleshexen caused a few sleepless nights with their scary masks during the performance, while Helga "Hildegard" Kowohl from Kronau took many visitors on a humor-filled ride. A group led by Alexandra Sebastian even dressed up as Dieter-Thomas Kuhn and parodied music from the 70s, adding a touch of nostalgia to the evening.

Mia Pizzino performed a dance show, and the club's own dance groups also entertained the audience. The program was themed around the Eleventh of the Eleventh, reflecting the traditional start of the carnival season in many parts of Germany.

Robin Leonhardt, who celebrated his 23rd birthday during the event, ensured the guests' well-being and entertainment. The program included a surprise marriage proposal, with the outgoing prince proposing to his princess after an emotional slideshow.

The Wilferdinger Schönthaler, known for her carnival experience, added to the festive atmosphere. Hannah Lüdemann and Paula Bräuner also made their debut at the CGS, promising exciting times ahead for the Carnival Society in Singen.

As the night came to a close, it was clear that the new rulers are determined to "rock the halls" with their fifth season, ensuring that the Eleventh of the Eleventh celebration in Singen will remain a cherished tradition for years to come.
