In the heart of August, Brightpoint Community College's Art Gallery unveiled its latest exhibition, the August 2022 Student Gallery. This year's showcase, titled **"Eqqumarka: New Artifacts from an Ancient City,"** featured the captivating ceramic work of student artist Patricia Silva-Santisteban, inspired by ancient artifacts[1]. The exhibition ran from August 15 to October 7, 2022.

The August 2022 Student Gallery is a celebration of excellence and creativity, and this year is no exception. The gallery showcases a diverse range of stellar art, design, photography, and illustration work from students across various disciplines. The works displayed in the gallery were nominated by the institution's faculty, and the gallery is maintained by Brightpoint itself.

The list of talented students whose work is showcased includes Adriaan Schiltkamp, Angelique Shipley, Anthony Carnegie, Artie Proulx Santana, Bobbie Villarruel, Brandon Bailey, Brooke Dryden, Chloe Koster, Daniel Sampson, Elia Giuliani, Haley Delgiacco, Haley Stoufer, Imani Saffery, Jaclyn Marr, Jenny Oguss, Jesse Martinez, John Olson, Justin Moss, Karen Sorano, Katie Pojorlie, Kristin Weidemann, Kylie Welsh, Lacey Bouchard, Lauren Steiner, Lori Wyre, Luis Cueva, Marc Fraley, Maria Jose Nunez Bonequi, Michael Parlacoski, Micky Jordan, Nicholas Fairman, Oscar Merritt, Ricky Johnson, Serrone Rose, Sharla Fossen, Stefanos Dardanos, Tara Fletcher-Gibbs, Tyne Bradley, and Zachari Haselow.

Lauren Edmundson, the Academic Coordinator, and Patricio Sarzosa, the Creative Director, were instrumental in the curation and production of the gallery. The faculty members who nominated student work for the gallery are also thanked for their contributions.

The August 2022 Student Gallery is updated each term, and this year's exhibition continues the tradition of recognising and appreciating the hard work and creativity of Brightpoint's students. The gallery serves as a testament to the institution's commitment to fostering creativity and encouraging its students to keep up the great work.
