Görlitz and Zgorzelec's Bridge Park Redesign Expansion

Expansion of the bridge park in Goerlitz and Zgorzelec led by local authorities - Expanding Bridge Fleet in Görlitz and Zgorzelec

Yo! It's on! The Bridge Park project shared by Görlitz and its neighboring Polish city, Zgorzelec, is stepping up its game. A whopping 3.6 million euros from the Interreg program is available to redesign and revamp even more lush spaces on both sides of the Neisse River. As per the Goerlitz city administration, they'll be sealing the deal on a partnership agreement for this cross-border joint venture on June 10th - at their annual joint city council meeting.

In the initial stretch of the Bridge Park on the German side, sections of their city park and the riverfront outside the Goerlitz city hall received a much-needed revamp. This cross-border green connection encompasses historical park areas as well as brand-new, riverfront public spaces. Now, it's time to take it south, between Obermühle and Weinberg.
