Exploring Juni's Oslo Apartment, showcasing avant-garde paint styles and captivating artwork.

In the heart of Oslo, Norway, UX designer Juni Halseth Strenberg's residence, affectionately known as "The Arctic Gardener," showcases a captivating blend of Scandinavian minimalism and contemporary colour trends. The home, which dates back to 1894, was recently featured in a book and an article titled "An artist's home in Oslo."

The apartment, with its chic, contemporary vibe, is a compelling real-world example of the 2025 paint trends in action. Juni's home features muted, earthy tones that reflect Nordic design aesthetics, emphasizing natural light and subtle colour usage.

The walls of the apartment are painted in Klint colours' Classic white, while the ceiling is painted in Morning dew 18, and the windowsill is painted in Himla 4. The home's strategic use of soft warm neutrals, combined with delicate accent colours, creates a calm, inviting interior while keeping the spaces feeling open and connected with nature.

Moody or deep accent colours are used strategically on walls or cabinetry to add dimension without overwhelming the space. For instance, the glass cabinet in the apartment is from Ellos (painted in another shade), and artwork in this area is by Maria Murphy. The home's walls and ceiling in another part of the apartment are painted in Honey bee 32 and Limon 82, respectively.

Small bursts of colour are present in the form of lighting, artwork, and accessories. The frame TV in the apartment is from Samsung, and the home boasts artwork by Emma Widell, Ingrid Haukelidsæter, Anette Moi, Maria Murphy, Jane Hupe, Petter Hoen, Isabelle Feliu, Ragnhild Nes, and others.

Furniture pieces, such as armchairs from Fogia, pendants from Hay, floor lamps from Louis Poulsen, sofas from MeliMeli, and paint from Klint colours, add a touch of playful patterns and rich textures, further enhancing the apartment's eclectic mix.

Juni Halseth Strenberg's apartment exemplifies how today's paint colours are both beautiful and functional. They provide a foundation that can enhance natural light and complement Scandinavian minimalism while staying on trend with warm, comforting hues that promote wellbeing. The home serves as a testament to the enduring appeal of Nordic design aesthetics and the adaptability of contemporary colour trends.

The chic interior-design of Juni Halseth Strenberg's residence, "The Arctic Gardener," is a reflection of her lifestyle, blending Scandinavian minimalism and contemporary colour trends, showcased through the use of paint from Klint colours in various rooms. The home's walls, ceiling, and windowsill are painted in a harmonious blend of muted earthy tones, soft warm neutrals, and deliberate accent colours, creating a calming, inviting home-and-garden atmosphere that connects with nature.
