Gathering in Public Plaza
In the heart of the Baykonur district, Abai Park played host to a significant event as part of the nationwide environmental movement, "Taza Qazaqstan." Organized by the "Jasyl El" project and the local aqimat, the event aimed to clean up the park's territory, preparing it for upcoming celebrations while fostering a culture of environmental care.
The choice of Abai Park, named after the renowned poet Abai, was symbolic, reflecting the connection between ecological stewardship and Kazakh cultural pride. The event served as a local, youth-driven manifestation of the "Taza Qazaqstan" movement, engaging communities directly in green actions.
During the event, young participants discussed key milestones in Abai's life and work, with a particular focus on his "Words of Admonition." Eraly Baykhoja, a participant of the "Jasyl El" project, expressed his belief that events promoting respect for Kazakh history and language have a positive impact on the youth.
The event was more than just an ecological initiative; it was also seen as a necessary, useful, and wise lesson about the purity of every Kazakh's soul. The general director of "Qazaq Gazetleri" newspaper, Dr. Dihan Kamzabekuly, was present at the event, underscoring its significance.
As the event concluded, participants formed the phrase "ABAI180" as a tribute to the poet, marking his jubilee celebrations. The "Taza Qazaqstan" initiative, with its focus on environmental protection, cultural heritage, and public engagement, continues to play a vital role in shaping Kazakhstan's sustainable development.

Science played a role in the event as participants discussed Abai's "Words of Admonition," which have been analyzed by environmental-science scholars for their environmental messages. After the event, the focus shifted towards home-and-garden initiatives, as the "Taza Qazaqstan" movement encourages participants to apply the principles of environmental care at their homes, thereby influencing their lifestyles positively.
