German Customs Museum Hamburg's provocative roadshow exposition, titled "Unquestionably Incorrect!"

The German Customs Museum is set to host an informative exhibition titled "Genuine Fake" from 14th October to 2nd November 2024 at the BlechenCARRÈ shopping center in Cottbus. This collaboration between the Customs Museum and the "Central Office for the Protection of Intellectual Property" aims to raise awareness about the negative impacts of counterfeit products on the economy and the local job market.

The exhibition will showcase a variety of products initially appearing genuine but are revealed to be counterfeits. These include sportswear brand T-shirts, sunglasses, perfumes, chainsaws, foam insulation, and many other items. The exhibits aim to demonstrate that the purchase of counterfeit or fake products can pose health risks.

In this age of seemingly cheap online shopping, it's easy to overlook the potential dangers of counterfeit goods. The exhibition aims to increase awareness of the problem, educating visitors about the diverse dangers posed by counterfeit products.

Lack of warranty claims can cause dissatisfaction and result in financial losses for consumers. By understanding the risks associated with counterfeit products, consumers can make more informed decisions and protect themselves from potential harm.

Access to the exhibition is available Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. For further inquiries, contact Astrid Pinz at the Main Customs Office Frankfurt (Oder) at 0335/ 563 1030, 0175/ 9296 076, or email [email protected].

The exhibition's website is www.zoll.de, where more information about the exhibits, opening times, and other related events can be found. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn more about the importance of authenticity in our consumer choices. The exhibition "Genuine Fake" will continue at the BlechenCARRÈ shopping center in Cottbus until 2nd November 2024.
