Giessen Autumn Fair Returns September 27th to October 5th
Mark your calendars, Giessen residents! The Autumn Fair is just around the corner, kicking off on September 27th and running until October 5th. Get ready for a packed schedule of events, including free rides, volunteer days, and a spectacular fireworks display.
The fairgrounds at Ringallee will come alive with a diverse range of attractions. Expect to see thrilling rides like 'Robotix', 'Music Express', and 'Frisbee', along with classic favourites such as the '1001 Nights' carousel. The official opening, led by Mayor Frank-Tilo Becher, will take place on September 27th at 1:45 PM.
Registration for the Giant Wheel Mini Picnic begins on September 23rd at 11:00 AM on the giesse_entdecken Instagram channel. This event will coincide with the fair's opening ceremony.
Volunteers can enjoy free rides and snacks on Volunteer Day, September 30th. Family Day on October 2nd brings discounts on rides and attractions, plus pumpkin carving activities. Free rides will also be available from 2:00 to 2:30 PM on the opening day. Don't miss the dazzling fireworks display on October 2nd around 9:00 PM.
