Green Space and Anger establishment in The Hague, marked in Lörrach
The city of Lörrach recently inaugurated a new residential quarter and green spaces named "Green Valley" and the Anger, located within the Belist development area in Haagen. This expansion is part of the city's housing offensive 2025, aiming to create 2,500 new housing units by 2025.
The Belist residential area, spanning around 5.6 hectares, is situated alongside "Green Valley" and the Anger. The new development encompasses approximately 220 residential units, designed to promote a natural layout and provide recreational spaces.
"Green Valley" is designed with playgrounds, relaxation areas, and is centred around the Manzentalbach. The central Anger serves as a new village square, featuring a tree line, seating areas, and meeting places.
The inauguration of "Green Valley" and the Anger took place on September 19th, marking a significant step towards enhancing the quality of life in the quarter. The new green spaces and Anger are also intended to contribute to climate adaptation in the area.
The total investment for the design of the open spaces in the new development area amounted to 1.2 million euros. However, the cost of designing and constructing the Belist residential area remains undisclosed.
The Belist residential area, like "Green Valley" and the Anger, is designed to promote a natural layout and provide recreational spaces. Upon completion, it is expected to provide additional residential units to the ones already built in the area.
The construction of the Belist residential area is likely part of the city's broader efforts to enhance the quality of life and contribute to climate adaptation in the quarter. The new development area in Haagen, along with the Belist residential area, is part of the Haagen new development area.
Despite extensive research, the name of the architect responsible for the design of the new green spaces "Green Valley" and the Anger in the Belist new development area in Haagen remains unknown.
The Belist residential area is one of the areas undergoing new development in Lörrach. As the city continues to grow and evolve, these initiatives are crucial in providing sustainable, green living spaces for its residents.
