Join 'Three in One' Hike in Oberelsbach on Oct 19, 2025
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Rhön Club Hünfeld branch invites you to a scenic circular hike called 'Three in One' in Oberelsbach. Led by Gerd Schmitt, the hike is 14 km long and of medium difficulty, offering stunning views of Kreuzberg and the historic Rhön Basilica St. Kilian. Guests are welcome to join.
The hike begins at 10 am at the German Tobacco Pipe Museum in Oberelsbach. Along the route, hikers will traverse three nature reserves: Mill Meadows, Gangolfberg, and Dünsberg. At Gangolfsberg, there will be detours to the Basalt Prism Wall and Devil's Cave. The hike concludes in Seiferts at the 'Crown' inn. Linus and Anita Steinwachs will organize and lead the hike. The meeting point is at 9 am at the Unsben / Landerneauallee car park.
