"Kamchatka-themed Fairy Tale Exhibition Debuts in the Nation's Capital"
The Beringia-2025 winter festival has officially begun in the region of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, bringing with it a celebration of Russia's diverse cultures and crafts.
The festivities commenced with the exhibition-fair named "Fairytale Kamchatka", running until February 8 at the Kamchatka Exhibition and Tourism Center. This event promises an array of exclusive souvenirs, as well as the opportunity for visitors to try their hand at folk crafts.
The "Fairytale Kamchatka" exhibition-fair is not the only attraction during the festival. The "Traditions and Crafts of Russia's Regions" exhibition is also part of the programme, showcasing handmade items such as national clothing, jewelry, and decorative applied art. Artisans and craftspeople from Kamchatka Krai, Nizhny Novgorod, Irkutsk regions, and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are among those participating.
Visitors can expect to find unique items from various regions of Russia at the "Traditions and Crafts of Russia's Regions" exhibition. However, the names of the artists or craftsmen participating are not publicly available.
To facilitate access, free buses are operating from the "Planeta" shopping center stop to the KVTC during the duration of the "Fairytale Kamchatka" exhibition-fair.
