The renovation aims to preserve the architectural and emotional essence of the historic place while upgrading its functionality and updating the aesthetic to fit modern times.
Pasteis de Belém assures that the taste of their pastries remains the same, despite the new locations. Both locations will continue to sell custard pastries until the end of 2025, giving visitors ample time to enjoy the famous treats at either the original or the new location.
