New Tsuyosa 37 Blue and Purple Models Debut from Citizen
Citizen has announced the release of two new variants of the Tsuyosa 37 watch collection, set to become available from September 2025. The Tsuyosa 37 Blue (Ref. NJ0200-50M) and the Tsuyosa 37 Purple (Ref. NJ0200-50W) are the latest additions to this popular line, offering a fresh twist on the timeless design.
The new Tsuyosa 37 models boast a robust yet elegant design, featuring a 37mm case, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, and water resistance up to 5 bar. They come equipped with an automatic in-house caliber 8210 movement, offering a power reserve of 42 hours, 21,600 vibrations per hour, and a seconds hand stop.
The Tsuyosa 37 Blue features a dark blue, sunburst dial, marking the most timeless look in the series. On the other hand, the Tsuyosa 37 Purple showcases a rich purple dial, making it a fashionable choice for those seeking something less conventional. Both versions share typical applied hour markers and faceted hands with luminescent material.
The Tsuyosa 37 Purple is a new version of the Tsuyosa 37, and it maintains the mid-size 37mm diameter of the original. The case measures 37 x 11.5 millimeters, with vertically brushed surfaces and polished accents. The back of the watch reveals the automatic caliber 8210 through a see-through case back.
The Tsuyosa 37 Blue and Purple models will be priced at 299 euros, the same as the original Tsuyosa 37. They will come with a three-piece stainless steel bracelet with polished and brushed links that integrate seamlessly into the case.
The new Tsuyosa 37 Blue and Purple models will be part of the permanent collection, joining the ranks of the popular Tsuyosa line. They will be available through Citizenwatch.eu, w-Global.com, and authorized retailers.
The design of the Tsuyosa 37 has influences from the popular NH299 series from the 90s, making it a modern take on a classic. The Tsuyosa 37 offers an all-rounder package with an integrated steel bracelet, automatic movement, and a price under 300 euros, making it an attractive choice for watch enthusiasts.
