Menden's local cinema, the Oscar-Kino, is set to commence an exciting new season, much to the delight of the city's Cultural Office and its cult film followers. The communal cinema will be available on the website from October to March, providing film enthusiasts with a chance to explore a diverse range of movies.

The season will commence on October 13 with the screening of "Golda". This will be followed by a series of intriguing films, including "Two to One" on November 10, "The Path" on December 8, "The Island of Lemon Blossoms" on January 12, "Old White Man" on February 9, and "Thelma" on March 9.

For those interested in learning more about each film, a link will be provided on the cinema's website. It's worth noting that the screenings at the Oscar cinema will start at 8 PM, with the exception of the opening night film, which will begin at 7:30 PM.

The ticket price for each screening remains at a reasonable six euros. The films to be screened during the season were chosen based on popular votes cast via QR code, ensuring a selection that caters to the tastes of the community.

In addition to the Oscar-Kino, the cinema is collaborating with Corso Kino (Twiete 33) for the new season. This collaboration promises to bring an even wider variety of films to Menden, making the 2022/2023 season an unmissable event for film lovers.
