Museum Wiesbaden Opens August 3 With Free Saturdays, Showcasing Expressionism Masters
Museum Wiesbaden is set to open its doors on August 3, offering free entry on Saturdays. Visitors can look forward to a range of exhibitions, including Expressionism masterpieces and rarely seen artists.
The museum's Art Nouveau permanent exhibition will be open for exploration. Additionally, the exhibition 'Honey yellow - The bee in nature and cultural history' will be on display.
The highlight of the opening is the exhibition 'Feininger, Münter, Modersohn-Becker... Or how art comes into the museum'. This exhibition tells the story of the Department of Classical Modernism, featuring works by Expressionism masters like Lyonel Feininger, Gabriele Münter, and Paula Modersohn-Becker. Visitors can also expect to see rarely shown artists such as Erma Bossi and Elisabeth Epstein.
Completing the tour will be sculptures by renowned artists like Ernst Barlach, Gerhard Marcks, and Marg Moll.
