Party celebrating wardrobe switch at the DIE LINKE
On Saturday, July 19, DIE LINKE Ingolstadt is inviting the public to join them for a unique and eco-friendly event at Am Bachl 16, near Brückenkopf. The focus of the day is a clothing swap party, aimed at promoting sustainable consumption and extending the life cycle of clothing.
The event, themed as "Share instead of throwing away," is open to all, regardless of whether attendees wish to bring clothing to swap or simply browse and take items they like. Participants are welcome to bring up to 12 pieces of clean, well-preserved clothing to the event and can take up to 24 pieces in return. There is no requirement for visitors to reciprocate when swapping clothing.
The clothing swap party is just one aspect of the day's activities, which also include meetings and the exchange of ideas, both indoors and outdoors in front of the office. Lina Schwarzott, a member of DIE LINKE's board, comments, "Our goal is to demonstrate that sustainable consumption can be both affordable and enjoyable."
By participating in the clothing swap, attendees can help reduce the demand for new clothing production, a process that is resource-intensive and polluting. This event supports sustainability goals by promoting conscious consumption and waste minimization, directly involving participants in an alternative consumption model.
The clothing swap party is free and open to the public, with no registration required. The event takes place from 11:00 to 18:00 on July 19. For more precise information about the event, such as specifics about the venue or any additional programming, please consider checking DIE LINKE Ingolstadt’s official channels or local event listings.
