Peace-advocating 'Spaces of peace' party takes over 'Spaces of bathing' in Delmenhorst on August 17-18.
In a surprising turn of events, the much-anticipated Bathing Tent Days in Delmenhorst have been cancelled. However, fear not, as a Consolation Party is set to take place instead!
Organised by the non-profit association Stars for Kids, the Consolation Party will be held at the Kids' Second-Hand Shop by Stars for Kids, located next to the DAK in a side building of the Jute-Center shopping center in Delmenhorst. The exact location is Weberstraße 3-10, 27753 Delmenhorst.
The party will be a fun-filled event, with Rubber ducks and Donald Duck himself making an appearance, along with attractions such as popcorn, face painting, numerous water games, and a lucky wheel. The main prize for the lucky wheel is a flight over Ganderkesee!
But that's not all. The Delmenhorst Life-Saving and Rescue Service (DLRG) will also be present, offering a unique experience with their rescue boat and duck fishing.
The earnings from this Consolation Party will go directly to Stars for Kids, a non-profit association dedicated to children's aid projects in Delmenhorst. Among other things, they finance the children's lunch at the city's children and youth centers.
