Performers at Ebersberg Folkfest bond like a family
Ebersberg Volksfest 2025: A Tradition Continues
The Ebersberg Volksfest is currently underway, and this year, many familiar faces and attractions can be found on the festival grounds.
Martin Bauer, the chimney sweep who runs the fish stand near the beer garden, has been a staple at the Volksfest for three years. Bauer, an avid fisherman, enjoys the bustling atmosphere of the festival and the opportunity to serve fresh fish to the crowds.
Not far from Bauer's stand, Ludwig Trollmann runs his heart-shaped candy stand. Known for his almonds and chocolate strawberries, Trollmann has been a part of the Volksfest for the past two years. Despite the presence of many wasps, Trollmann remains undeterred, attributing the attraction to the sweet treats he sells.
Another familiar face at the Volksfest is Kevin Kraus, who has been running the shooting stand and children's carousel since 2022. The tradition of the children's carousel in the afternoon and shooting games in the evening continues this year.
Newcomers to the festival include Joachim and Aloisia Rieder, who have set up their stands for tin can fishing and ship swinging. Also new to the Volksfest is a bouncy castle, which has slides, a climbing tower, a ball hopping course, and a rotating obstacle tower. For a flat rate of nine euros, children up to eleven years old can jump the whole day on the bouncy castle.
Christian Reichenau and Christoph Reichener run the ring toss and can throwing stands at the Volksfest. Christoph Reichener, who was previously an office clerk but is now a full-time showman, has been working as a showman for three years.
Magdalena Kuegel and Andreas Eder have two stands at the Volksfest, one of which is a giant bouncy castle. The lottery stand has been a staple at the Ebersberg Volksfest since its beginning.
Alicia Steininger and her husband, who works as a showman, are at the Volksfest for the first time. The Ebersberg Volksfest website and regional event announcements are the best sources for the latest information on new rides or culinary offerings at the festival.
As always, the Ebersberg Volksfest promises a fun-filled weekend for all ages. Whether you're a seasoned attendee or a first-timer, there's something for everyone at this beloved Bavarian tradition.
The al fresco dining experience at the food-and-drink section of the festival features Martin Bauer's freshly caught fish near the beer garden, while Ludwig Trollmann's heart-shaped candies offer a sweet treat in the home-and-garden area.
Lifestyle enthusiasts can join the ol' fashioned fun of the tin can fishing and ship swinging stands, or participate in the thrilling activities offered by the new bouncy castle at this year's unique Volksfest experience.
