Popular gardening expert, Alan Titchmarsh, announced for the podcast lineup of Talking Gardens in its third season on our website.
The much-loved Talking Gardens podcast is back, and this time it's bigger and better than ever! Starting on Tuesday 30 April, the award-winning podcast will drop a new episode weekly for nine weeks.
In the first episode of the new season, veteran gardener, broadcaster, and author Alan Titchmarsh takes centre stage. He will be talking to podcast host and our website editor Stephanie Mahon about his dream garden, sharing his thoughts on rewilding, and revealing who he would choose as his imaginary head gardener.
The new season of Talking Gardens promises to be a feast for garden enthusiasts, with a line-up of horticulture's top talent. Alan Titchmarsh will be joined by Ann-Marie Powell and Andy Sturgeon, renowned designers in the industry. Katy Merrington, the cultural gardener at The Hepworth Wakefield gallery garden in Yorkshire, will also be featured, as will Nigel Dunnett, a planting designer known for his innovative approaches.
Tayshan Hayden-Smith, a community gardener and activist, will also share his insights, as will Jimi Blake, owner of Hunting Brook Garden in Ireland. Kate Humble, a popular TV presenter, will also be a guest in one of the episodes.
Throughout the podcast, listeners can expect discussions about plants and gardens, the latest news from the horticulture industry, and insights into the nation's backyards. In addition, Alan Titchmarsh will share where he saw the ultimate summer house, and there might even be a few surprises along the way!
