Redesigned Bathroom in Our Small Cabin Showcase along with Suggestions for Similar Designs
This summer, a unique collaboration between GSI Ceramica and CRISTINA Rubinetterie brings a touch of Danish design to a small summer cottage. The project aims to create a functional, stylish, and inviting living space that reflects the charm of a tiny cabin.
Design Inspiration and Layout
The design of the summer cottage is rooted in Danish aesthetics, characterised by simplicity, functionality, and the harmonious blend of nature and modernity. The floorplan is thoughtfully organised to maximise space and light, with areas dedicated to a bedroom, dining space, and kitchen.
Kitchen and Bathroom Solutions
Kitchen
The kitchen features a combination of a cabinet kitchen and a cottage kitchen, offering ample storage and a rustic, homely feel. GSI Ceramica provides the entrance, sink, and cabinet, ensuring a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The kitchen is equipped with a Kube X Washbasin (60 x 47) from GSI Ceramica, providing a practical and stylish solution for washing up.
Bathroom
The bathroom design prioritises functionality and elegance. GSI Ceramica's durable, easy-to-clean ceramic surfaces complement the minimalist aesthetic, while CRISTINA Rubinetterie's faucets and fixtures add a touch of sophistication. The shower door and glass shower wall are part of the design, contributing to a spacious and modern feel.
Room Details and Finishing Touches
The walls and mirror in the summer cottage are covered with Kalk matt white tiles and a mirror, reflecting light and creating a clean, airy environment. The room details include Tumbled Turtle tiles, a wooden peg rail for hooks, Plissé blinds, and Norrgave blinds, adding warmth and texture.
Special Features
The design includes an autumn Fika area in the little cabin, perfect for enjoying warm drinks and homemade pastries during cooler months. The design also elevates the room with elements such as a Danish classic and a children's version of it, making the space feel welcoming and inviting for all ages.
