King Charles Launches Luxury Pet Collection for Dogs

King Charles has made a royal entrance into the world of pet care with the launch of the Balmoral Pet Collection, a line of premium treats and accessories for dogs. The collection, which coincides with the arrival of Snuff, a Lagotto Romagnolo from Italy, to the royal family, promises a distinctly royal approach to canine indulgence.

The Balmoral Pet Collection extends beyond gourmet dog treats to include canine couture. The collection features hand-baked dog biscuits, priced at £5, prepared in small batches in the Balmoral Castle kitchens using wholemeal flour, egg, and chicken stock. Each bag of these 100% natural biscuits, lovingly made, contains 75g of wholesome goodness.

For the fashion-forward pooch, the collection offers premium tweed accessories. A Balmoral tweed dog collar can be yours for £32, while a tweed dog lead costs £40. A tweed dog treat bag is available for £30, and a coat of arms dog bowl, adorned with the royal emblem, retails at £28.

The Balmoral Pet Collection brings a touch of Scottish heritage to dog accessories, reflecting the traditional Balmoral tweed craftsmanship that goes into each piece. The Sandringham Estate shop has also introduced the "Happy Hound" tweed coat, a stylish, machine washable, and water-resistant coat for dogs, priced at £44.99.

King Charles' last personal pet, Tigga, a Jack Russell terrier, passed away in 2002 at the age of 18. With the arrival of Snuff, the King has returned to dog ownership after two decades. Snuff, known for its exceptional truffle hunting skills, is the first personal pet for King Charles since Tigga.

The Balmoral Pet Collection marks a new era in pet care for the royal family, combining luxury and tradition in a way that only the Balmoral Castle can. Whether you're treating your dog to a bag of hand-baked biscuits or dressing them in tweed accessories, the Balmoral Pet Collection is sure to add a touch of royal elegance to your dog's life.
