Founded by Chris Scriven and Will Goy, the club offers a unique blend of lawn bowls, entertainment, and fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The Bowls Club provides an unparalleled group experience, accommodating up to 120 guests at a time to play lawn bowls as a team. The founders' favourite aspect of the Square Mile is its 'can-do' attitude and accessibility, which has contributed to the club's success. Since its opening night, where they raised £46,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, the club has continued to support the hospital annually. The club's growth has been remarkable. It has grown to host the world's largest lawn bowls event and has partnered with World Bowls. This expansion is attributed to the complementary skills of the founders: Chris Scriven ensures flawless delivery of events at scale, while Will Goy pioneers growth through commercial partnerships and trend-spotting. The idea for The Bowls Club was born in The Plough in Clapham Junction and is entirely self-funded. The club offers more than just lawn bowls.
