The Neureuter Kerwe, a cherished cultural tradition event in Karlsruhe, is currently underway and open to the public from August 15 to August 18, 2025. Located at the Festplatz Neureut, this four-day festival is a celebration of local culture, music, food, and community gathering.

The event kicks off with the official opening ceremony on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The local mayor, Thomas Jäger, and Mayor Dr. Albert Käufllein, will tap the keg to mark the beginning of the festivities. The Neureut brass choir will blow the tower on Sunday morning, followed by an ecumenical church service and breakfast concert.

Throughout the four days, visitors can enjoy a variety of live music acts, including bands like Die Partyfürsten and Everglow (a Coldplay Tribute band). The "Partyprinces" will perform on Saturday evening at 8 pm, while "Everglow - A Tribute to Coldplay" will take the stage in the evening on Sunday.

The festival offers more than just music, with rides, delicious food, children's activities, Frühschoppen (morning pint tradition), and a fireworks display. The grand finale will conclude with a fireworks display at 10 pm on Monday, and the classic sour soup at 11 am on the same day will set the stage for "Caution Four" to ensure a lively atmosphere.

Children will find plenty to keep them entertained, with a bouncy castle, box cars, hip-hop workshop, and children's disco on Sunday. The Kerwe brings together the whole neighbourhood, from children to grandparents, for families and friends to enjoy.

The Neureuter Kerwe is a successful festival, having grown to become the oldest and largest church fair in the region. It features around 30 stands, fairground rides, and booths offering various activities and treats. The festival promises fun, music, and unforgettable moments for its visitors. Best of all, admission to the Kerwe is free, guaranteeing a unique experience in Karlsruhe.

So, come and join the celebration at the Adolf-Ehrmann-Bad in the northern part of Karlsruhe. The Kerwe is a multifaceted event that offers something for everyone, making it a must-visit event for locals and tourists alike.

During the Neureuter Kerwe, visitors can immerse themselves in a vibrant lifestyle, enjoying free time at the multifaceted event filled with live music, food, rides, and activities. At home-and-garden stands, they can find unique treats to bring some Kerwe charm back to their homes.
