Train Adventures in Lübeck: Insight
On today, September 20, 2025, Nordic Rail Service GmbH (NRS) is hosting the "Day of the Rails" in Lübeck-St. Lorenz Nord. The event, which takes place from 9 am to 6 pm, will see the official launch of the new Poki model of the V200 locomotive.
The event location, behind the Gollan Kulturwerft, offers ample parking for visitors. For those arriving by train, special trains departing hourly from Lübeck Central Station are available.
The official presentation of the new Poki model of the V200 will be conducted by Poki's company representatives at 3 pm. The day promises to be filled with exciting activities, including a large exhibition of locomotives, two-way Unimogs, vintage cars, and H0 scale models.
Children won't be left out either, with a free bouncy castle and a small railway ride available. For the history enthusiasts, railway films and historical exhibits will provide insights into the history and development of the railway.
A highlight of the event is the big special trip to Hamburg with the legendary V200 locomotive and original Reichsbahn travel coaches.
