Hawklords Announce UK Tour in Support of New Album, 'Fait'
Renowned space-rock band Hawklords are embarking on a UK tour in October and November, in support of their twelfth studio release, 'Fait'. The tour kicks off on October 30 at Blackpool's The Waterloo Music Bar, with the first live date following the album's release on October 24.
The tour schedule includes a performance at Hitchin's Club 85 on November 2, followed by shows at Bridgwater's The Cobblestones on November 5, Southampton's The 1865 on November 4, and Chelmsford's The Hot Box on November 6. The tour continues with a show at London's The Underworld on November 11, and concludes at Nottingham's The Rose of England on November 18.
'Fait' acts as a 'coda' to the 'Time', 'Space', and 'Relativity' concept albums, and offers a completely immersive space-rock experience. The album is described as a cinematic audio release, featuring a blend of soundscapes and thought-provoking songs.
Bebe Aldridge lends her talents to the flute on the album, while Kriss Gordelier provides lead vocal on two of the songs. One of these tracks is 'Strange Land', a song that is sure to be a highlight of the live performances.
'Fait' also includes a sci-fi short story titled 'Tethered', adding an extra layer of intrigue to the album. The album examines aspects of the human metaphysical world and ties together 'loose strands' from the 'TSR' trilogy.
