Get ready for an action-packed weekend at the Chemnitz Model Days 2025! Join us on 25th-26th January at the Chemnitz Fair for a mesmerizing adventure in miniature worlds. This isn't just another model building event - it's our seventh annual showcase, boasting a wider variety, international flavor, and an expanded footprint.
Immerse yourself amidst impressive model railway layouts in various scales, crafted lovingly by passionate hobbyists from over 40 clubs and individuals, and trade (20 traders to be exact)! Partnering with the MEC Chemnitz e.V. and C3 GmbH, we've cooked up a mouthwatering program that promises something for every model enthusiast. Smiling at European landscapes in miniature? Check! Ready for a RC truck course extravaganza? You 're in for a treat! This massive, riveting display covers over 500 square meters and is home to construction vehicles, trucks, and buses in miniature splendor.
Don't forget about day and night simulations that bring those miniature construction scenes to life. More than 200 model drivers are ready to show you the ropes! The Saxon Trial Championship (OSTRIAL) and East German Championship (EGC) will be held in various classes, adding a competitive edge to your visit, should you be inclined.
Put on your hard hats, our interactive experiences deliver! Hands-on stations, simulated drivers' cabs, wild ride-on tracks, and a puppet theater named "Boredom in the locomotive shed" ensure you'll never get bored! 🎭🚂
But wait, there's more! While you frolic and play among those miniature delights, the Kreativmarkt will entice you with creative inspiration. A single ticket grants you access to both events, so why limit the fun? 😉
The event takes place on 25th January from 10:00 to 18:00 and 26th January from 10:00 to 17:00.
