Yakutskenergo Connects 2222 Facilities, Adds 70 MW to Yakutia's Grid in H1 2025
PJSC 'Yakutskenergo' has made significant strides in expanding Yakutia's power grid in the first half of 2025. The company connected a total of 2222 facilities with a combined capacity of 70 megawatts to the electrical grid.
The 'Energy Development Program of Yakutia' saw 1828 new facilities connected, including 1544 residential houses, dachas, and garages, contributing 51.5 MW to the grid. Additionally, 68 mobile facilities were temporarily connected, adding 9 MW.
Existing facilities saw upgrades too. Energy companies increased the capacity of 326 previously connected facilities by 9.5 MW. Meanwhile, 74 business activity facilities were energized, totaling 19.6 MW, to boost small and medium-sized enterprises. Other connected facilities included 60 housing and communal services, 20 cultural and sports facilities, 16 gas supply facilities, and 54 communication facilities. The remaining connected facilities accounted for 1.7 MW.
General Director Gavril Alekseev praised the systematic and purposeful work done, highlighting the significant progress made in meeting Yakutia's growing electricity needs. The connected facilities, totaling 70 MW, have contributed to the development of Yakutia by providing light, heat, and power to new residential areas and enterprises.
