Youngsters immersed in a realm resembling a mouse's world
In our city, a special event took place at the Baunsberg Children and Family Center, where the city marketing office is located at Market Square 14, 34225. The event was a captivating picture book cinema, as part of the nationwide Reading Day, held annually on November 15th.
The event was organised by the participating employees of two kindergartens - the municipal Kita Birkenallee and the Johanniter Kita Bornhagen - and the community center. The children who attended were immersed in a story about a mouse and experienced elements like sunlight, colours, and sounds.
Each child received an entrance ticket, which they kept and showed at the entrance. Along with their ticket, they were given an envelope containing a memory game and information for their parents. These posters were displayed at the Children and Family Center. After the event, the children returned to their kindergartens and created posters related to the theme.
