Zoo on French Riviera's Coast - Le Petit Papillon is right next to the zoo
In the heart of Berlin, Papillon restaurant, nestled near the Zoo Station, has introduced a novel blend of two contrasting worlds with the unveiling of its summer terrace, Le Petit Papillon.
This unique establishment cleverly merges the lively urban atmosphere of the city and the relaxed elegance of the French Riviera, creating a distinctive dining experience. As the S-Bahn trains rumble on tracks above, the enchanting terrace replicates the St. Tropez style below, featuring playful umbrellas, cascading champagne, and a verdant landscape adorned with olive trees, lemons, and lavender.
The menu mirrors the summery ambiance, offering light, refreshing dishes such as a €14 watermelon-feta appetizer and a €24 tuna carpaccio. The popular seafood towers and homemade ice cream and sorbet flavors remain on the menu, with the latter available for €7.
"The zoo has never been this close to the Mediterranean!" Despite its urban location, the coastal theme remains ever-present, as the restaurant offers a taste of Southern Europe, evoking the stylish and relaxed atmosphere of the Côte d'Azur. The menu, including dishes like Tuna Crudo and Gillardeau Oysters, reflects this coastal inspiration.
Papillon, situated at Hardenbergplatz 15, invites patrons Tue-Sat from 6 PM. Visit papillon-berlin.com for more information.
